Pakistani officials say missiles fired from a U.S. drone aircraft have killed at least five suspected militants in the northwest tribal region near the Afghan border. Authorities say three missiles struck a compound Monday about 25 kilometers east of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, a known insurgent stronghold.
